Each fairy has a 5 1/2 inches long, permanently attached metal pick so that they may be inserted into dirt/ plant. Great for fairy gardensFairies are made of outdoor poly resin material, but we recommend them to be indoors, in plants, terrariums or a covered shady porch. If you prefer to place them in outdoor fairy gardens, please know that they come from manufacturing with a protective coating, but semi-annual clear UV protective spray is recommended. This will help to hold color brilliance and prevent sun fading.
